Phnom Penh Post - Tat Oudom

Tat Oudom is a photographer and video journalist who first became exposed to journalism delivering newspapers before becoming a fixer and finally a professional journalist. He is particularly adept and getting into the right place during dangerous breaking news stories and covering sensitive topics. He has been named one of Reporters Without Borders 100 Information Heroes. In 2013 his film "Shot at work - waiting for justice" exploring the impunity with which former town governor Chhouk Bandith was able to shoot three garment workers was nominated as a finalist in Deutsche Welle's German Media Development Awards. Oudom came on board with the Post as a video journalist in July 2014.
