The General Department of Trade Promotion at the Ministry of Commerce has cooperated with PTT Cambodia Ltd on a project to boost Khmer product sales at PTT gas stations in the capital and 15 provinces after the project was successfully implemented in 2022.
In a March 9 notice, the commerce ministry said that the cooperative programme aimed to promote family-run Khmer products at domestic markets and develop the trade sector in Cambodiaon on a transparent basis and for the sake of communities.
The notice said that the project was successfully implemented in 2022 at 20 PTT gas stations in the capital and 10 provinces. This year, the ministry and PTT Cambodia will cooperate to expand and implement the project at 19 PTT gas stations in the capital and 15 provinces.
The ministry stated that Khmer products will be sold at the gas stations on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in March, May, September and November in 2023.
