Park Cafe opened a branch inside Phnom Penh International Airport yesterday, marking the company’s first franchise outlet as part of an expansion strategy aimed at doubling the size of the local restaurant chain.
Park Cafe General Manager Heng Sengly said the new180-square-metre franchise outlet, located inside the airport’s arrivals hall and operated on a five-year contract by franchisee Sajibumi (Cambodia), marked “a new page” in the company’s business story.
Park Cafe has 10 company-owned outlets in Phnom Penh, he said, adding that “we plan to open another 10 franchise outlets in some strategic locations as part of our short-term plan”.
