PPCBank confident of speedy economic recovery for Kingdom

With PPCBank announcing the opening of two new branches on August 10, the lender now has a total of 23 branches, while 62 ATMs are in operation across the Kingdom.

The two new PPCBank branches are ready to serve customers in convenient locations – Sihanouk Boulevard and National Road 6A.

At the Sihanouk Boulevard branch, customers can enjoy a range of banking services from 8am-8pm on weekdays and from 8am-4pm on Saturdays to match the busy schedules of the many customers living in the heart of the capital.

It features a Gold Club facility, where all VIP customers will be individually supported at their convenience by the most talented bankers at PPCBank.

The branch on National Road 6A is strategically positioned to serve the Chraoy Changvar and Russei Keo areas, which are bustling with many small and medium size businesses (SMEs).

To accommodate their banking needs, the newly opened Chraoy Changvar branch is equipped with an SME Center – a business banking hub with the primary goal of assisting busy business owners by providing consultations on loan plans to suit their business model.

Both PPCBank branches boast modern interior design, enhancing the banking experience for customers.

PPCBank is optimistic of Cambodian economic recovery despite the global economic slowdown caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, and it continues its drive to become one of Cambodia’s leading banks by expanding its network.

“Back in April, we went through a time of uncertainty, with nobody knowing how long people were going to have to work from home. We all had to adjust to a new way of living, and all of us had to take hygiene to a completely different level.

“However, measures were put in place promptly and with success in Cambodia, and four months later the Kingdom is to enjoy a substitute national holiday for the postponed Khmer New Year celebrations,” said PPCBank president Shin Chang Moo.

He said that for PPCBank, this is a clear sign that though the economy has slowed, with efficient governance it will soon bounce back.

“We want to make sure banking with PPCBank is easy and convenient, and that’s why we have continued with our expansion.

“On behalf of PPCBank, I would like to thank all of our customers for their ongoing support, which has enabled us to expand our network and services,” Shin added.
