Customers of Sathapana Bank Plc can now withdraw cash from any of the more than 10,000 TrueMoney agents nationwide as they would at a typical ATM, after the two financial institutions entered into an agreement.

As part of the partnership, the two institutions are offering a “zero-fee special promotion” until October 31 to Sathapana customers who use the “Human ATM” service feature on the Sathapana Mobile app to withdraw cash at a TrueMoney agent, according to an August 15 joint press release.

Sathapana deputy CEO Jean Pierre Gagnon said in the release that the bank is “hyper-focused on continuous innovation to better service our customers.

“Turning every TrueMoney agent into a human ATM allows us to offer everyday banking convenience to our customers no matter where they live.

“This banking without boundaries allows a parent to send money to their kids in the city or a father working in the city to send money to his mother in the province for instance. While we have one of the largest ATM and branch networks in the country, this partnership with TrueMoney strengthens our reach and provides ample choices to our clients,” he said.

TrueMoney Cambodia chief strategy offer Khuon Frandara added: “The banking and financial services that companies provide are improving day-by-day within the nation.

“With this partnership, we will be able to look forward to more adjustments and value-added services that will provide Cambodia with seamless and efficient financial and payment services,” the release quoted her as saying.

The release said that Sathapana now employs more than 4,000 staff and has total assets in excess of $2.4 billion. “We have an extensive branch network nationwide with more than 170 branches, three Sathapana Premier Banking halls, and more than 250 ATMs,” it added.
