Organized by IDP Education (Cambodia), the UK Education & Scholarship Expo on 19 January 2019 will bring together UK education institutions to ACE Tuol Kork Campusin Phnom Penh to provide face-to-face advice and guidance to students and parents on study options in the UK.

The event is one of the largest UK Education showcases in Cambodia by IDP Education – a world leader in international education and student placement services for the UK, Australia, New Zealand Canada, the US and Ireland with over 100 offices, including ones in the UK. The Expo will provide information on study options ranging from secondary school, vocational education and university programs as well as on relevant scholarships and visa requirements. Both entry into the Expo and IDP’s student enrolment services are free for students.

“This is a unique opportunity for any Cambodian student considering studying abroad,” said Mr. Sreng Mao, IDP Education Country Director. “The expo provides a platform for all the resources needed to study in the UK.” There has been a growth in interest for information about UK study opportunities, reflected in the numbers of participants joining IDP’s information sessions and expos.

“We are committed to providing the best services to students interested in studying abroad,” said Mr. Vantak Chheang, Student Placement Manager at IDP Education (Cambodia). He added, “This is a comprehensive opportunity for students and parents in Cambodia to meet with representatives from around the UK”.

Joining the exhibition will be the Australian Centre for Education (ACE) and IELTS Cambodia Official Test Centre. ACE will discuss opportunities to study the English language to meet the requirements of UK education institutions. Representatives from IELTS will be there to advise on test registration and preparation. IELTS will also introduce the new Computer-delivered IELTS (CDI) at Expo. With CDI, candidates now can choose to do the IELTS test on a computer. CDIis believed to better cater to the increasing demand for the test around the world as well as serve the test takers better leveraging off the advancement of technology. As the only IELTS Official Test Centre in Cambodia, IDP Education is excited to be able to offer this new test-taking experience to candidates doing the test for study, work or migration purposes.

“I have always enjoyed attending IDP events. Amazing people, valuable opportunities and simply a wonderful experience!” said Ms Oum Syvan, Chevening Alumni Association Cambodia President.
