Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh opened its doors to guests on Wednesday as the international 5-star hotel chain at last brings its exceptional levels of luxury to the capital. With the beautiful French colonial villa on Street 178 as its centrepiece, the modern 247-room hotel artfully blends the old and the new, combining exquisite traditional features and the latest cutting-edge technology.
In collaboration with Chip Mong Group, the new hotel located conveniently in the centre of the capital’s cultural and business district is set to attract visitors with its four delightfully designed main outlets redefining the eating and drinking experience and nine state-of-the-art event spaces.
Herman Kemp, general manager of Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh, Neak Oknha Leang Khun, co-founder and chairman of Chip Mong, Neak Oknha Leang Meng, group president of Chip Mong, and Simon Dell, senior vice president of strategy and development at Chip Mong Group, held a press conference the previous day to herald the auspicious occasion.
“We are delighted to be starting 2021 in such a positive way with the opening of this hotel. Both myself and my team are excited to welcome guests into our restaurants, bars and guest rooms. We will be offering new culinary experiences in town with locally sourced and sustainable products, as well as exciting venues for weddings, social gatherings and corporate events. We are excited to welcome business and leisure guests to a refreshing space where they can relax, recharge and connect with the things that matter most,” said Kemp. Photos by Hong Menea
