281 prosecutors and judges promoted by royal decree

King Norodom Sihamoni promoted 281 prosecutors and judges. In two separate royal decrees on November 25, 111 prosecutors and 170 judges were promoted for the year 2022.

According to the first royal decree, 111 prosecutors were promoted, of whom 40 were promoted to another level of the same rank in supreme prosecutor category and 10 were promoted from second-rank prosecutor to the rank of supreme prosecutor.

Another 54 prosecutors were promoted to another level in the same prosecutor category, while 7 were promoted from deputy prosecutor to prosecutor.

For the second royal decree, 170 judges were promoted, 56 of whom were promoted to another rank within the senior judge category. 21 were promoted from judges to senior judges and 89 were promoted to another level within the same category of judge. Three were promoted from deputy judge to judge and one was promoted within the deputy judge category.

“We entrust these royal decrees to the Supreme Council of the Magistracy and Prime Minister Hun Sen for implementation from the day of signing,” according to the king.
