A Japanese destroyer collided with a Cambodian cargo ship on March 3 in Vietnam, in the latest mishap for Japan's navy, the Japanese Defense Ministry said. No one was injured in the accident in the port of Ho Chi Minh City, a defense ministry spokeswoman said. Japan's Hamayuki destroyer suffered damage to the flagpole while paint was scraped off the Cambodian cargo ship, she said. Japan's defense ministry is embroiled in controversy after its largest destroyer, the Atago, last month smashed into a Japanese fishing boat, leaving two fishermen missing. (AFP)
