Health ministry senior official reminds public to practice Covid-19 preventive measures

With the approach of the celebration of Universal Health Coverage Day (UHC) on December 12, Ministry of Health spokesperson Or Vandine called for the continued practice of Covid-19 prevention measures.

In a tweet on November 25, Vandine wished the general public a prosperous and healthier life and reminded them to drive safely.

“Please practice Covid-19 preventive measures, sustain strong immunity and be part of stopping Covid-19 transmission,” she said.

The UN designated UHC day as the annual rallying point for the growing movement for health care for all. It also marks the anniversary of the United Nations’ historic and unanimous endorsement of universal health coverage in 2012.

This year’s UHC theme is “Build the world we want: A healthy future for all”.
