Indonesia has asked to team up with the Cambodian Ministry of Health to support enhancements and expansions in the pharmaceutical and healthcare domains, according to a ministry statement.
Indonesian Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) Pahala Nugraha Mansury made the request during a courtesy call on Minister of Health Mam Bun Heng at the ministry on May 5, the statement said.
Bun Heng welcomed Pahala’s visit to Cambodia, and especially to the 32nd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games and 12 ASEAN Para Games. The minister also congratulated Indonesia on assuming the chairmanship of the 10-nation bloc this year.
The statement noted that Pahala apologised to Bun Heng for having given such a short notice prior to the courtesy call. It provided no further details of the meeting.
