Sathapana Bank hosts Musica Felice charity concert

Sathapana Bank recently hosted a Musica Felice charity event at the leading Cambodian commercial bank's headquarters in Phnom Penh.

The one-hour concert by Musica Felice – a Phnom Penh choir founded by Miwako Fujiwara that puts on performances to raise money for good causes – was held at Sathapana Tower on January 15.

All proceeds from the concerts are donated to charitable causes in Cambodia, and to provide opportunities for talented young musicians unable to afford music tuition.

The concert, in partnership with Sathapana Bank, was Musica Felice’s 12th major performance since its inception in 2017.

Since then, more than $90,000 has been donated to a number of worthy causes, such as the Mercy Village School, Princess Buppha Devi Dance School, Yamada School Of Art and the Deaf Development Programme.

Ecole d’Hotellerie et de Tourisme Paul Dubrule and Sacred Dancers Of Angkor in Siem Reap have also benefited, as has Phare Ponleu Selpak in Battambang, among the many others.

Sathapana Bank said it was honoured to have had the opportunity to partner with Musica Felice and support its ongoing mission to help young, disadvantaged Cambodians access opportunities to pursue music.
