After crash, man felt need to level playing field

A Banteay Meanchey province man felt the punishment didn’t match the crime and appealed for a military leader to return the keys to his car on Sunday.

Getting in a fender bender with the officer in Anlong Veng district, the man apologised but had his keys taken when he claimed he didn’t have money on hand for compensation.

Instead of coming back with cash, however, the man decided to bring in legal authorities to sort out the matter.
