Catch of the day turns out to be bike burglar

An amateur angler, along with a helpful mob, netted a thief who had attempted to steal his moto in Phnom Penh’s Por Sen Chey district.

After returning home from a day of fishing with friends, the man heard his wife screaming downstairs and saw someone riding off on his scooter, which had been parked in front.

The man gave chase, and the thief only made it as far as a nearby market before helpful bystanders heard the shouts, cornered the suspect and doled out a few whacks before cops came to sort things out.

The moped was handed back to its owner and the thief was led to the police station for charges.
