The only thing certain in the capital’s Boeung Trabek village on Saturday afternoon was the rampaging son of a taxman, though fortunately death was avoided.
The Tax Department official’s son first hit a pregnant pedestrian with his Land Cruiser, slightly injuring her, before also damaging three motorbikes.
Trying to flee, he inflicted more damage on the narrow road’s property, while being pelted by rocks from residents. The father was called to negotiate a solution with the victim.
