Gambling off the menu at Pailin noodle house

When police discovered a pong at a noodle shop in Pailin province’s Pailin commune, it had nothing to do with malodourous cooking.

A pong is an illegal dice game, which a group of gambling addicts had been playing, using the food outlet as cover, until they were busted on Wednesday by cops who had started investigating their activities a few days earlier.

Their fate no longer lies with lady luck but with the justice system, since police have sent them to court to face legal action.
