Kickboxers KO’d by speeding SUV in PP

If you've ever cursed the driver of one of the seemingly thousands of speeding SUVs that appear devoted to terrorising Phnom Penh’s other road users, you’ll have sympathy for two joggers who were run down yesterday.

The pair, both kickboxers, were exercising in Chbar Ampov district, when a speeding Lexus overtook a truck and collided with them as they were running in the opposite direction.

Police did not detain the vehicle as negotiations with the seriously injured victims are ongoing.
