Thieving swine makes off with girl’s savings

One teenage girl’s piggy bank caught the greedy eye of a Battambang province burglar on Friday when he made off with the money she was keeping inside.

Breaking into the 15-year-old’s Bavel district house just as she came home from school, the masked suspect threatened her with a knife then grabbed for the porcelain porcine figurine in her hands.

The bank was dropped in the struggle and the intruder scooped up the fallen bills before sprinting away.

The girl alerted authorities about the decidedly small-time heist in the hopes they could reacquire her accumulated allowances.
