Three Tuol Kork tuk-tuk thieves foiled by owner

The finders-keepers rule didn’t hold up with capital police who arrested three men for stealing a tuk-tuk on Monday.

The culprits claimed they were on the way to visit relatives when they spotted the carriage – keys and all – sitting vacant in front of a house in Tuol Kork district.

They hopped in and headed towards the nearest pawn shop but were intercepted on the way by the rig’s rightful owner, who held them until police arrived.

The thieving trio were hauled in for charges, and the trolley was driven home.
