Too many youths draw police to illegal arcade

A 43-year-old Vietnamese woman was arrested in Phnom Penh’s Russey Keo district on Wednesday, after her illegal arcade proved too great a lure for local youths.

The teenagers who congregated there were said to be doing so at the expense of school, skipping classes to have a flutter, and were also blamed by locals for a recent spike in robberies in the area.

The proprietor of the teenagers’ gathering spot is now in police custody.
