Call for Swedes to help with tax base

The Cambodian minister of economy and finance met with a visiting delegation from a Swedish Tax Agency on Thursday and requested assistance to strengthen Cambodia’s tax collection policies and taxpayer services.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance is the home to the General Department of Taxation of Cambodia while Sweden is one of the countries with the least income inequality in the world, according to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.
