Cambodia’s longest bridge should be in operation by April 2015, a project manager said yesterday.
The Neak Leung bridge, which spans more than two kilometres across the Mekong River between Kandal and Prey Veng provinces, is 93.5 per cent completed, said Yoshinori Abe, the Japanese Embassy officer in charge of the project.
“It will also become an economic bridge port of the countries in the ASEAN community,” said Abe, adding that Japan has spent more than $95 million on the development project.
