Prudential Cambodia sets two new business records

Prudential Cambodia, the country’s leading life insurer, recently achieved a major milestone by becoming the first life insurer to issue 200,000 policies in the Kingdom.

The 200,000th policy was issued to Ms. Phan Sothary, a shopkeeper from Oudong District, Kampong Speu province, who successfully applied for an eduCARE policy from the company’s bancassurance partner ACLEDA Bank.

“I was very surprised to learn that I was the 200,000th policyholder of Prudential Cambodia. As a parent, I am proud of myself for making the decision to buy a policy. It is very important because, in the case of an unfortunate event, the insurance coverage will help secure my children’s education and living expenses in the future,” Ms. Phan said.

The success of Prudential Cambodia would not be possible without the dedication and commitment of its professional staff.

This year, Prudential Cambodia set a new company record with 42 consultants, also the highest number in the industry, joining the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), The Premier Association of Financial Professionals®, which comprises the world’s leading professionals in life insurance and financial services from more than 500 companies across 72 countries and territories.

Only the most skilled professionals and advisors in life insurance can qualify for the Million Dollar Round Table.

This recognition is key not only for consultants, but for the entire insurance industry, setting the benchmark in terms of the skills and quality of the services rendered to customers.

“We are immensely proud of our consultants, who have shown tremendous dedication and commitment in serving our customers and meeting their protection and savings needs. Their entry to the Million Dollar Round Table and Prudential Cambodia achieving the 200,000-policy milestone underline their skills and passion. These achievements also demonstrate that life insurance, despite being a relatively new product in the market, is increasingly valued by Cambodians seeking to protect their families and enjoy peace of mind,” said Prudential Cambodia CEO Mr. David Nutman.

Ms. Sothary is one of many Cambodians whose family’s future is protected thanks to her life insurance policy with Prudential Cambodia. Life insurance is key to ensuring that parents have enough resources for their children’s education, helps provide additional finances for retirement, as well as lift the burden of possible debt. Having life insurance provides customers with the opportunity to enjoy life knowing that the future of their family and loved ones is secure.

Since establishing operations in 2013, Prudential Cambodia has introduced a wide range of country-specific life insurance protection plans, including eduCARE, Loan Assure, easylife, PRUmyfamily, SafeLife and PureProtect.
