A five-day sports administration training course, funded by the Olympic Solidarity commission and attracting 25 participants, will wrap up on Friday in Siem Reap.
“Siem Reap province was very lucky to get such training for the second time following an inaugural course in 2001,” National Olympic Committee of Cambodia administrator Chhoun Leng, who is leading the course, told the Post.
According to the official, the main topics studied are sports management, organisational techniques, sports market communication and combating the use of banned substances.
Other chief instructors at the course include NOCC secretary- general Vath Chamroeun, NOCC Medical Science Committee president Sdeung Chea, vice president of the National Training Center Keo Sareth and vice president of the Minsitry’s Physical and Sports Education department Beung Kimtor.
“This is the last training course in 2014, and in 2015, we will have similar events but we will focus on provinces further away,” said Vath Chamroeun.
