Politicians, sports officials test out Koh Kong course

Top government officials involved in the organising of the third Sea Festival, which will be held in Koh Kong from December 12-14, tested out a new golf course in Koh Sdech commune, Kirichulsa district of the same province on Monday set to host an competition during the three-day event.

NOCC President and Tourism Minister Thong Khon, Koh Kong governor Bun Lert, parliament member and former Phnom Penh gorvernor Kep Chuktema, Cabinet Secretary Su Phearin and Tourism Ministry Secretary Chea Bora were among those who completed nine holes of the course, which the consensus agreed was of international competition standard.

Thirteen events have so far been slated for the festival including a fun cycling race which is expecting an auspicious total of 999 riders, according to organisers.
