Shaburi & Kintan Buffet: Affordable premium Japanese hotpot and barbecue experience

Shaburi & Kintan Buffet all-you-can eat Japanese buffet has elevated the hotpot and barbecue experience, using only the choicest premium US and Australian beef – including wagyu – with a selection of soups and dipping sauces unrivalled in taste and hygiene.

Soeu Sopheak, Kfood Innovation’s Executive General Manager, said the company – having observed a lack of premium yet affordable buffet options in the Kingdom – created Shaburi & Kintan so Cambodians could enjoy the high quality Japanese buffet, one providing a range of health benefits.

Customers can savour a wide variety of delectable premium beef from the US and Australia, with karubi cut choices alongside the wagyu options, and a selection of authentic Japanese soups and barbecue.

“Our meat selection includes premium beef from the US and Australia, including wagyu, with the best locally sourced pork and chicken.

“We also have an unlimited selection of over 30 types of vegetables and a wide variety of more than 30 side dishes, with ice creams, fruits and desserts, as well as free tea, coffee and soft drinks.

“And our attentive staff are ready to assist and provide the best service seven days a week,” said Sopheak.

Kfood Innovation opened its first Shaburi & Kintan Buffet at Aeon Mall Phnom Penh in 2015, expanding to Aeon Mall Sen Sok City and the Khalandale Mall, with Aeon Mall Mean Chey the latest addition.

Customers at each outlet enjoy a clean, modern Japanese-style decor, with the innovative smokeless grills at each table further enhancing the dining experience as every effort is made to ensure the delicious barbecue and soups are enjoyed to the fullest.

“The special feature of Shaburi & Kintan Buffet is the ‘Combo’, where we combine barbecue and soups all on one table, with our soups coming in range of taste options and served in one pot one per each person to maintain the best hygiene.

“We have five fantastic soup options for customers – the Original Konbu, Sukiyaki, Beef Pepper, Chicken Collagen Paitan and Hot Miso – which in addition to their delicious taste, also provide important health benefits.

“The Original Konbu, for example, is abundant in calcium and minerals, making it a good choice for children and pregnant women, and is believed to prevent fatigue, lower stress and improve digestion.

“The Chicken Collagen Paitan soup is rich in collagen, which as it helps the body renew, improves the condition of the skin, while the Hot Miso is said to help reduce the signs of ageing and prevent fatigue,” said Sopheak.

Regular customer Sok Meng, 60, said the Original Konbu seaweed soup was delicious, and left him feeling energised and able to sleep well at night.

Another customer, 40-year-old Samphors San, said the dipping sauce for the grilled meat paired exceptionally well, describing the experience as “incredibly delicious”.

Sopheak said Shaburi & Kintan Buffet’s business success provides job opportunities for more than 200 Cambodians, while Kfood Innovation also operates six Pepper Lunch outlets and the Sumire Yakitori House at Khalandale Mall.

Shaburi & Kintan Buffet is a Japanese franchise with a presence in a number of countries around the world, the Phnom Penh native added.

And since opening in the Kingdom, it has enjoyed a great deal of support, with around 70 per cent of customers Cambodian and 30 per cent foreigners, mostly Japanese, Korean and Chinese.

“With an enticing selection of gourmet dishes created with passion and dedication, with a charming ambiance and exceptional service, we guarantee an unforgettable culinary adventure.

“Come to Shaburi & Kintan Buffet and immerse yourself in a feast that will delight all your senses,” said Sopheak.
