ANA, Japanese experts conduct environmental audit

ANA, Japanese experts conduct environmental audit

Auditors of the Japan Quality Assurance Organisation (JQA) conducted an external audit of the Angkor environmental management system of five departments and one unit of the APSARA National Authority (ANA) for three days from April 25-27.

The audit aimed to verify whether the ANA's system is continuously adhering to the Environmental Management System within the validity period (three years) of ISO14001: 2015.

Changes in the structure of the ANA will also be reviewed according to the activities related to the environment and those responsible for the environment, said the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts.

ANA deputy director-general Long Kosal said this was the sixth external audit of the environmental management system. If the ANA receives additional certificates soon, it will mark the 18th year that the ANA has linked itself to valuable environmental work.
