STC committed to promoting Siem Reap tourism

Since its establishment in April 2019, Siem Reap Tourism Club (STC) has laid down the groundwork with commitment and transparency in its mission to promote, foster and elevate the tourism industry in Siem Reap.

The Club has a simple and concise vision, which is to sustainably develop Siem Reap and Angkor Wat to be among the most popular tourist destinations in the world.

By gathering business and community leaders together, forming a united “one voice, one heart” vision in the industry, STC focus on community building to achieve its goal of sustainable tourism growth in the province.

This effort is carried out partially by providing education and training to the people of Cambodia.

STC holds monthly networking events and one that recently concluded is the Business Dialogue & STC Networking.

A highlight of the event was the inspiring and informative presentations given by senior business leaders from Cambodia and potential investors from Singapore.

Memoire Hotels & Resorts (MHR), a member of STC, has been taking on an active role in the Club. Founded and passionately curated by hospitality veteran Philip Kao, who is also the President of STC, MHR is an accommodation choice for your ultimate travel experience.

MHR brings unique experiences to travellers by pampering them with excellent services provided by their local experts. This ensures travellers leave Siem Reap with pleasant, meaningful and unforgettable memories.

From the façade to its interior, MHR applies designs which embody the elegance and beauty of Cambodian artistry. MHR calls Siem Reap home while Angkor Wat which is located in the province is arguably the most exquisite temple in the world.

Drawing inspiration from the grandeur of the Angkor Wat world heritage site, MHR is a vibrant hotel and resort brand that is fast becoming the market leader in Cambodia and the region.

To keep the city clean and conserve a healthy environment for better living standards and sheer bliss, MHR works together with the local community and authorities to plant more trees at the Angkor Archaeological Park and certain parts in Siem Reap province.

This effort is done with the hope of helping reduce the pace of global climate change and attracting more tourists to visit Siem Reap’s UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Living in a world full of challenges, and offering a helping hand whenever and wherever necessary is a virtuous act. MHR believes that helping others is a gracious gift to be shared! As a STC member, MHR is always willing to share its experience in the tourism sector with the local community in Siem Reap.
